Producer of Ofi Nia is Jennifer Robin. Jennifer is a citizen of the Choctaw Nation with matrilineal connections to the Cherokee Nation. Jennifer is an award-winning producer, traditional singer, and 4th generation regalia and ribbon wear seamstress. Her exceptional craftsmanship has graced clothing for film productions and Disney’s ECHO. With an illustrious career in broadcasting, Jennifer has garnered five broadcast awards for excellence in programming and public service. 

As a prominent radio host, Jennifer Robin leads the acclaimed program Resilience Radio on KVMR 89.5FM, which highlights Native voices and music. Her program has not only achieved international recognition but also serves as a platform for authentic Indigenous voices. Jennifer’s ability to conduct honest and engaging interviews makes her show both entertaining and informative. She has spoken with notable figures such as Dennis Banks and John Trudell, among many others. 

 

Using her dedication to culture and active participation in ceremonies Jennifer offers unique insights and connections for delving deeper into stories of Native peoples.  Sharing these stories offers comfort and generates understanding for Natives and Non-Natives alike.

​During the Standing Rock protest, Jennifer's fieldwork in Cannonball, North Dakota, was transformed into a compelling one-hour audio special, showcasing her ability to document significant events. As a broadcaster for SPIRIT Radio, Standing Rock’s official station, Jennifer's work has been both impactful and influential.

Jennifer's talent extends beyond radio; she is a recipient of the 2020-2023 CMAC/FOCV/KSEE grant for the television broadcast project, BIG TELL. As part of the Ofi Nia Production Company, Jennifer continues to produce content that resonates deeply with indigenous and global audiences. 

Her weekly program, Resilience Radio, features a diverse range of guests, including authors, artists, musicians, storytellers, and activists from various Indigenous backgrounds. Over the years, Jennifer has interviewed hundreds of individuals from Native Nations, First Nations, Maori, Mayan, Amazonian, Sámi, and Tibetan communities. 

With a deep commitment to her culture and a passion for storytelling, Jennifer Robin continues to be a powerful advocate for Indigenous voices, shining a light on the rich and diverse narratives that shape our world.

Cinematographer/Photographer, Ofi Nia Production Company, Tyler Phibbs: Tyler is of Siksika Blackfoot ancestry and an award-winning artist from central Illinois. With over 12 years of professional event and fine-art photography, he can capture any situation with unique perspectives and taste. Tyler is a practiced cinematographer with a unique eye for capturing breathtaking moments through the lens. He has done cinematography work for Amazon Prime, various local businesses, and individuals. Tyler was a videographer for Ofi Nia at Standing Rock and has been using his talents for indigenous groups since 2016.

Audio Engineer, Ofi Nia Production Company, Christiano Borges: Chris from São Paulo, Brazil and descendant of the Tupi Guarani Amazonia Tribe. Along with being a talented Audio Video Specialist, he has been a professional musician for over 30 years, a music producer for over 15 years, and is a multi-instrumentalist musical genius. Chris has done audio tracks for Ford Mustang advertising, produced multiple albums for many artists in Brazil, Texas, and California, created and produced soundtracks for exhibitions, and more. His artistry in video production is desired by musicians all over North and South America.
